Understand how to save audio files for editing and publishing

How-to render as a  .wma & .wav

 Information you need for the  project:
  • Acid Pro edit file is ACD
  • Acid Pro edit for Sound Forge file is WAV (uncompressed file format)
  • What are the required file formats of the  publishi ng web site Acid Planet: WMA and MP3
  • Compressed file formats for publishing are MP3 and WMA

Materials Needed:

  • Acid Pro software
  • Sound Forge software

 

Steps : Save for Editing
  1. In Acid Pro render your file = File, Render As, WAV file format
     
  2. Open the software Sonic Foundry, Sound Forge.
  3. Make edits to the WAV file, like, Fade In and Fade Out
  4. Save your file in publishing formats = File, Save As, MP3 or WMA
